Preview your smile
AESTHETIC SMILE PREVIEW
A preview of your new smile.
The Aesthetic Preview of the Smile is the possibility, thanks to an advanced digital technique, to have a preview of your new smile, directly visible on the computer screen.
The Cosmetic Dentist and the Smile Preview
In the initial sessions, we will design the “design” of the new smile by creating new teeth on the computer, after a thorough analysis of the natural proportions of the face. Thanks to this technique, it will be possible to visualize your new smile on the computer.
After the aesthetic preview of the smile, we will study the treatment, following the rules of masticatory function, biology, and respect for existing structures, to ensure that your new smile is not only aesthetically beautiful but also functionally impeccable.
We will then choose the best type of solution for each tooth: ceramic dental veneers or ceramic dental crowns.
In the next step, what has been designed on the computer will be replicated in wax by the dental technician. You will then be ready to have a new exciting smile to try before proceeding to the actual work.
Start with us a new and very safe journey, without risks and surprises, so that the dream of a new wonderful smile becomes a reality. Trust the expert hands of a cosmetic dentist who loves his work and has cultivated it for years with continuous updates and the help of the most advanced techniques.
Our patient wanted to improve the appearance of her smile but wanted to have a clear idea of the final result before proceeding with the treatment. That’s why we used the smile preview technique, which allowed us to show our patient a real representation of her smile.
Through the use of modern 3D modeling software, we created an accurate simulation of the smile and replicated it directly in her mouth, achieving a shared vision of the final result, which allowed the patient to make a consensual decision on the treatment.
The smile preview represented an important phase of our aesthetic approach, allowing us to communicate clearly and transparently with the patient, offering a realistic preview of the expected results.
PLANNING AND PREVIEW
DIGITAL AESTHETIC OF THE SMILE
Dr. Pier Carlo Frabboni is an expert dentist in the technique of Aesthetic Preview of the smile.
Hand Waxing
This technique allows obtaining an extremely realistic prediction of the smile. Indeed, the next step after computer design is the creation by the dental technician of plaster or digitized models, in order to obtain a concrete result that reflects what Dr. Frabboni has designed.
Digital Waxing
In cases where the design is transferred digitally, these virtual models are printed in resin using 3D printing (3D printing), replicating on the computer the work of the dental technician.
Duplication of Form
Another step is the duplication or copy of the design, i.e., the new dental shapes, with a silicone impression made on the models.
Insertion of Aesthetic Resin
This silicone copy is then filled with aesthetic resin that fills every space and form of the teeth. The material chosen normally has a light color and is such that it covers any dental discolorations and emphasizes the improvement of the aesthetics of the smile.
Mock-up or Preview Technique
This silicone copy filled with aesthetic material is then placed directly on the teeth. After a few moments, it goes from a fluid to a solid state, and by resting on the existing dentition, it takes the shape of the designed design. Once the silicone guide is removed, your teeth will be completely transformed in terms of color and shape. You will immediately see the result of your new, dazzling smile.
THE EMOTION OF A NEW SMILE
This is an extraordinary preview of your future teeth, made without compromising your natural teeth in any way. At the end of the evaluations, the resin mock-up is easily removed without any impact on your teeth.
Start with us a journey that will allow you to achieve a smile that meets your dental and aesthetic needs to the fullest.
CASES WITH THIS TREATMENT
CASES WITH THIS TREATMENT
In this case, the patient requested to solve malocclusion problems and improve the aesthetic appearance of the smile. Therefore, a therapy with a transparent appliance and dental veneers was proposed.
We then proceeded with the aesthetic preview of the smile through a mock-up, which is an advanced process in dentistry that allows patients to see a preview of the potential aesthetic result before undergoing restorative or correction treatments through the use of orthodontic appliances.
Using digital technologies, virtual models are created based on the current condition of the patient’s teeth, which may be worn or affected by malocclusion. These models are then used to create a physical mock-up that the patient can try, thus allowing a more concrete visualization of the proposed changes. This process is essential to ensure that the final results are in line with the patient’s expectations and to optimize the aesthetic appearance of the smile.
