Orthodontics and Implantology for Malocclusion
MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO CORRECT CHEWING FUNCTION AND AESTHETIC ASPECT OF THE SMILE
In this clinical case, the patient’s requests were to improve masticatory function and the aesthetics of the smile. The patient presented several issues, including: dental crowding and malocclusion, missing multiple teeth, gingival recessions, dental aesthetic issues, and smile disharmony.
The Smile Preview technique allowed us to design the work before proceeding with the treatments and to show the patient the potential final result in advance.
The treatment plan implemented by Dr. Frabboni involved several phases.
To resolve crowding and malocclusion, targeted orthodontic treatments were used to align the teeth correctly and improve their position. To address the missing teeth, implantology was employed to restore normal masticatory function. Additionally, professional dental whitening treatment was performed to enhance the brightness and aesthetic appearance of the teeth. As the final step of the treatment, ceramic dental veneers were applied to the upper arch.
Testimonial
Smiling has always been a problem for me; at parties, I hid from cameras and struggled in relationships for fear they would look at my teeth. When I decided to improve the situation, I didn’t think I could achieve such a perfect result.
Now I can speak and express myself with ease, and when I see a camera turned on, I jump in front and smile!!
