RESTORATION OF AESTHETICS AND CHEWING CAPACITY THROUGH ORTHODONTIC THERAPY, IMPLANT, AND TEETH WHITENING
The patient approached Dr. Frabboni with a complex dental problem involving both dental arches, created by malocclusion, the absence of some teeth, and unpleasing teeth shape and color for the patient. The objectives were to improve both the aesthetic appearance and the masticatory function.
Dr. Frabboni developed a personalized treatment plan that involved several stages.
Firstly, the Smile Previsualization technique was used, where the creation of a mock-up allowed the patient to preview the possible final result.
Subsequently, orthodontic therapy was performed to correct the position of the teeth and improve their alignment, resolving the malocclusion. This treatment allowed for the creation of a solid foundation for the subsequent restoration phase.
Dental implants were placed to replace the missing teeth, offering a stable and functional solution. These dental implants also contributed to restoring the aesthetics of the smile and the patient’s chewing capacity.
To achieve a natural and uniform tooth color, professional teeth whitening was carried out in the lower arch.
Finally, ceramic dental veneers were applied to the upper front teeth to give them a natural shape and appropriate color.
