TRANSPARENT ORTHODONTIC BRACES
Transparent orthodontic braces are suitable for people of any age!
These clear braces consist of thin, transparent resin aligners that slowly move the teeth without the use of common metal “brackets.” The
majority of adults are candidates for their use (up to 85%). Dr. Pier Carlo Frabboni is a professional, performing dozens of treatments with this approach each year. These transparent aligners are very well tolerated by patients and are highly effective in resolving dental aesthetic issues such as: diastemas (spaces between teeth), rotated teeth, crowded teeth, and misaligned teeth.
These aligners are among the useful tools for dental aesthetic treatment and are often combined with ceramic dental veneers.

The technology of transparent aligners
Transparent braces have a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a series of custom-made aligners exclusively for your teeth.
These alignment shells are constructed with thin, comfortable, and virtually transparent plastic that you can wear over your teeth. By wearing them, these aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into the position that the specialists have designed for you.
There are no metal “brackets” to attach or wires to tighten. You simply wear a new set of aligners about every two weeks until the treatment is complete.
The advantages of transparent braces and frequently asked questions from patients
One of the main advantages of aligners with transparent braces is their discretion: such an appliance allows you to maintain confidence in smiling without fear. In addition, the transparent brace can be easily removed by the patient before each meal, before brushing teeth, or for special occasions, and then easily reinserted into the mouth.
Many patients ask us if transparent braces hurt. In general, during treatment, you might feel a slight pressure or sensitivity in the teeth when you start wearing a new set of aligners. However, these symptoms generally disappear within a few days.
